Taylor Sheridan's "Ego" Killed "Yellowstone" Season 5: Report
The popular Paramount TV show Yellowstone will end with its fifth season, according to the New York Post.
But problems with making the show could keep the second part of the season from coming out.
As rumors spread that the show's star, Kevin Costner, had not agreed to the plan for Season 5,
The series has been in the news because of the long delays that have happened. But the ego of the show's author, Taylor Sheridan, is said to be to blame.
A production source says that any showrunner and big celebrity have respect for each other, but there are also times when they don't get along.
The first episode of Season 5 aired on Paramount in November 2022. But since shooting and making are still going on, the second half has been left unfinished.
Sheridan is said to be "overburdened" with work because he is also in charge of the Yellowstone spinoffs 1883 and 1923.
A source told The Washington Post that, contrary to what had been said before, there were no scripts ready for the second part of Season 5 and that Costner just showed up for a week to film it.
Taylor has too much to do, and Kevin offered to help at the beginning of the year, but nothing was ready.
